So, to continue my series on Windows 8 tips, I want to ask a fundamental question that everyone using a computer should be asking:
“How can I shut down this computer so that I can go do what I really want?”
I mean, wouldn’t you rather be outside, going for a walk/run, playing some sports, going to a game, meeting up with your friends, spending time with your family, working on your hobby, or something other than sitting in front of a computer, staring at the small little beams of light representing something that can be wiped away with a simple magnet or a power outage?
Don’t get me wrong. I love my job. Probably more than I should. However, to stay sane, I need my “Ed time”. So, let’s talk about how to shut down Windows 8 so we can get cracking on that new beer you have been brewing up, or your kid’s first game of baseball.
